    1. Warning this was assigned reading for a class I took.This is something that I never would have picked up voluntarily Some of the passages were actually very interesting while others were redundant and boring It was certainly informative, but not much of a pleasure read.

Strong, smart women communicating their perfectly rational ideas about their place in society to the rest Good recompilation of primary sources and supportive text It addresses the struggles and accomplishments of women from the start of the young nation until the twenty first century I m not a fan of this topic, however, if you like history about exceptional women who fought for strong causes, you will like this book.

    3. To be completely honest, did not read every source in this book, but did read the vast majority for my wh class Really amazing selection of sources gives a great overview of american women s activism experiences throughout all of American history.
