    1. After discovering this book on Twitter and reading that the Author was a retired police officer with 22 years experience in forensics , I knew I had to read it The fact that it has a paranormal twist only added to my interest and oh boy, I was not disappointed The crime scenes are true events that really happened only they have been authentically adapted into a gripping part fiction, part truth story, with just enough information that leaves you slightly squirming but wanting to know Without gi [...]

    2. Amazing Simply Amazing I purchased The Camera Guy expecting a good novel based on an intriguing premise a forensic investigator with the unique gift or curse of being able to see the victims spirits at the scene of the homicides, allowing him the details needed to solve the crime What I didn t expect were the unusual twists and turns the author, Richard Goodship, raced me through as the story was laid out, got knotted up, and then unraveled itself to expose the darkness that embedded itself in t [...]

    3. I haven t read a thriller with a paranormal twist in a while and wasn t sure what to expect when I picked up The Camera Guy I wondered whether I might think it was so so In fact, I loved it It did bring to mind The Exorcist, The Omen, etc which have all been done and done Richard Goodship s book, though, brings a fresh slant to the genre that had me immediately wanting to read The Forensic Investigation side beautifully done, supplying just enough information to convince you that the author kno [...]

    4. The Camera Guy is an intense, supernatural thriller that will burn images into the reader s mind long after the book is finished Bill Waters, The Camera Guy , investigates the gruesome crime scenes of murder victims add to the suspense that he also talks to their spirits just before their souls are ripped away by an evil entity, then the fact that the evil entity wants to savor Bill s soul, and you have a delightfully creepy novel The Camera Guy is everything a great novel should be the characte [...]

    5. It is by far an intense, supernatural thriller that presents everything so detailed that you really feel as if you were there Clearly the author deserves the credit for having experience from his former job, but his imagination and his talent in making the story flowing, it really caught my attention The story starts with an investigation of the crime scenes but the suspense is building up with every page you turn Not my usual genre but I admit I enjoyed it The characters and the scenes are perf [...]

    6. I love books that keep me on the edge of suspense to the very end R.W Goodship gives you that and Looking for suspense with a twist of paranormal Then you have found the right book and the right author to give you just that

    7. Excellent read This book was everything I had hoped for and The fact that is written by a retired police officer and forensic specialist only made it that real Every murder scene was described with such details that I could envision myself in the room with Bill and Tom Evil is a powerful thing and takes a special, kind of person to fight it I liked how Bill said we all need to have Faith, not necessarily in religion but in something I really like the way the end leads to another book coming I D [...]

    8. If you judged this book by its cut and paste clipart cover like I almost did , you d be seriously missing out As a self published author, Richard Goodship may not have an eye for designing a cover, but he sure as hell knows what to put on the pages behind it The Camera Guy was remarkably brilliant on so many levels It had the bones of an excellent detective novel, but it mixed in unexpected elements of the paranormal and theological Think of this as a film noir style detective story meets Angels [...]

    9. This was a fantastic book And I was pleasantly shocked by that fact I ll tell you why.First This book is self published, and I don t usually read self published novels, unless it was written by an author that has already been published Nothing against people who self pub their books, it s just not my cup of tea.Second It s not romance I don t typically read outside of my genre, and if I do it s for good reason Maybe I know the author and we re friends, or maybe it has some romance in it so I am [...]

Book Description Life was not easy for Forensic Investigator Bill Walters His ability to see the spirits of the victims at his crime scenes gave him an edge, but it kept him isolated from his fellow Officers and gave him the reputation of being a Nutbar on the force.Bill could live with this He could even live with the family of ghosts that haunted his apartment, the loss of his friends and religion and the estrangement of his daughter, Eryn. What Bill couldn t live with was the Demon that came t [...]

    11. Finally, a crime novel written by a cop with experience and knowledge of the seedy world of criminals Not just seedy Detective Bill Walters is thrust not just into scenes of horrific murder, but with a gut wrenching twist Forensics and details of the murder are just enough to grasp the enormity of the crimes without getting bogged down in the science When Bill Walters receives an assistant , it turns out Tom is actually a psychologist What a clever use of another character in this plot When they [...]

    12. 4.5Forensic Investigator Bill Walters sees dead people at his crime scene Well, dead people and their spirits He s not sure why, but not only can he see ghosts, but he sees the final moments in the victims lives His powers of observation are excellent, but the spirits have given him an edge and he doesn t have an unsolved case The other officers may think him loony toons, but his conviction rate is unparalleled When a new Chief Inspector takes over the department and wants Bill the crackpot out, [...]

    13. Crime scene investigator and fallen away Catholic, Bill Walters, has than an eye for forensic details, he has eye for spirits and their last experiences and emotions This gift has given Bill the ability to clear cases than most other on the force, an ability that makes others jealous When his superior officer assigns a psychologist and atheist, Tom, to play his partner and observe Bill for behaviors that would interfere with his job, his boss does not count on the new partner liking Bill Even [...]

    14. I picked up this book because I am fascinated with forensic science and thought it would be a good read.Boy was I wrong It was an AWESOME read Bill Walters is a forensic investigator with a perfect track record for solving crimes Pretty impressive, eh Seems like he should be the most well liked and popular guy on the force And he is with a few people You see, Bill has a secret. He sees dead people Gulp As soon as I read that, I was HOOKED The Camera Guy will take you on a roller coaster ride thro [...]

    15. Forensic Investigator Bill Walters sees ghosts Maligned by the majority of his department, who believe he s crazy, he works solo until the new Captain, in an effort to get rid of him, assigns a partner to him Unknown to Bill, the partner is a Psychologist, who is to report to the Captain all of Bill s transgressions Bill has a reputation of solving every crime he comes across, in part due to his ability to see the dead, and also because of his expertise in Forensic Science When people suddenly s [...]

    16. After 16 years of working alone, Bill, a forensic detective who claims to see the spirits of dead victims, is forced to take on a partner but quickly discovers that Tom is not the run of the mill policeman he was expecting, Tom is not even a policeman Tom is a clinical psychologist, whose mission is to discredit Bill From the start, the two are as different as can be, however the story twists very rapidly when they discover that they have something in common Bill might see the dead, but Tom can [...]

    17. I have to admit that this book was not what I expected I generally don t enjoy detective stories, but this smart, dark tale by R.W Goodship ended up being so much His characters are not only complex, they are weighed down by the grimmest of baggage They are fallible, human, and you can t help but feel for them as they face a deluge of seemingly insurmountable problems And then there s the antagonist he takes evil to a whole new level This is one of those books that is hard to put down and harde [...]

    18. I was hooked inside the first two pages of this story I felt like I was truly looking through the eyes of Bill as he took in the gruesomeness of each murder scene and the pain that was left behind in the spirits that haunted him Mr Goodship has a gift for creating a spine chilling world that you can t walk away from This was one of my favorite reads of the year.

    19. I enjoyed the story, it could easily be a movie, but the free kindle version I got needs proofreading The lack of commas and run on sentences had me stuck rereading on paragraphs that killed my enthusiasm a bit But the story was good

    20. I really enjoyed this novel The characters were excellent as well as the storyline I liked both Bill and Tom and their friendship, all things considered I loved it all.
