    1. This book totally pushed all the right buttons for me Christian is a bit of a geek, caught up in his writing, so much so that his wife left him He s not devastated by that He seems aware that he s gay than straight and he s much interested in his leading man He s a little freaked when his new housemate shares a name with his character, but he s hot and Christian is self aware enough to know he s crushing on him, but doesn t want to freak him out and chase him off as he needs the rent money. An [...]

    2. Cute with a side order of funny, this story had me smiling from the start, and not just because the main character is a writer who takes inspiration from real life with hilarious results It was mostly because he does so without even acknowledging what is really going on His new roommate, on the other hand, knows what he wants thank God, or Christian would end up a lonely old bachelor with no real life.Christian is a bit of a geek, focused only on his writing I mean, his wife has left him because [...]

    3. Christian is an author of a Lord John Loring series and when he is desperate to find idea for his next book his agent keeps telling him to get Lord John laid , he decides to get inspiration from his roommate, who has the same name with his character Oh, except that Christian also feels attraction so is this art imitating life The idea is pretty cute but I get a bit distracted with the M F point of view that Christian writes as part of his story Especially since I feel that it s not really an M F [...]

    4. Reviewed by Max At 28 pages, this story is a quick read It s a sweet story about love developing between roomates.I think I had a silly grin on my face the whole time I read this one Christian was so cute whenever reacting to John And John is the ultmate perfect guy with his thoughful, caring nature that is shown throughout the story. If you re looking for spice and heat, this one doesn t have it But it does have lots of sexual tension I like that These characters have a great connection, and it [...]

    5. This book was a gift from the author I liked the characters but did feel that there was not enough time for me to really connect to either one Christian continuously referred to his writing in the story to describe what he wanted to share with John At times this back and forth was kind of odd Since this book is mostly m m the back and forth between the imaginary m f story within the story really didn t work for me I am looking forward to reading from this author since I did enjoy the writing st [...]

    6. LOVE the concept Any issue I have with the story are only in my preference to avoid short stories They tend to create questions than they answer for me, and tend far too much to insta love Too much tell and not show Having said that, I would have loved to see this as a full length novel The writing was awesome The characters were intriguing If you re into short stories, this one is definitely for you It s perfect.

    7. 2.5 stars This book had great potential and IMO a unique plot falling in love with a character you create and finding all those endearing features and qualities reflected in an unexpected source But I have to say that I was disappointed The plot was bogged down with paragraphs from the book MC was writing.

    8. 3.5 stars Cute short m m romance about a writer who finds himself writing his interactions with his roommate into his historical romance I had one niggle about the actual sex scene, which lacked any sort of prep, lube, or condom.

    9. I thought this was sweet and funny A romance writer who ends up writing his crush on his new male roommate into his m f love stories Also a coming out story, since our writer hasn t publicly admitted his desire for a man until now Just very cute.

    10. i am always reluctant to read short stories, but this one managed to bring the sweet romance with heart warming conclusion despite its lenght Christian was author, who was writing heterosexual romance with great success. His main hero was searching for love as did one who created him.
