This book is dark, dangerous, violent and oh so damn cynically funny.The story is shamefully entertaining as Sean O Neill s use of metaphor and original hardboiled simile is channeled through Tooley s muse, Raymond Chandler Chandler is often imitated, but Sean is spot on Clearly influenced but totally and joyfully original The story has twists and turns, so many side capers and mini plots, whacky characters and twists per inch than a.38 special You wonder how any author could bring them all ar [...]

I am so glad i gave this book a chance I don t usually read crime or gangster mob books, but this book is HILARIOUS Unfortunately there are quite a few typos and punctuation errors, but as a frequent reader of free kindle books, I m learning to get past that and enjoy the bigger picture The book is extremely violent, but the author s use of metaphor had me laughing out loud all through the book I am not quite finished with it, so I m not sure what happens in the end yet, but I hope poor Tooley h [...]
