To me, this was of an aspirational cookbook than one I ll use regularly, since many of the recipes use ingredients I can no longer eat like flour or would never buy like venison, pheasant, portobello mushrooms allergic , and others However, I got a great tip for better roasted potatoes which I will try next time I do them, as well as another tip for making risotto in the oven, and yet another on poaching eggs So her tips are really helpful and there are recipes sprinkled throughout that I will [...]

    2. This has some good old school classics with new twists Some of the lingo is too old school for me but still a great cookbook Looking forward to adding some recipes to my winter menus.
