    1. I may be listed as the co author, but really I was just an editor Bambi s story is unique and universal, fascinating and frightening, and one of the most compelling I ve ever heard It was a privilege to help her write it down.

    2. I remember the first time I met Bambi I was a wee bitch of 19 years old I answered the door to the blue house and Bambi sauntered by and was beckoned by the person at the door Who gave her an introduction fit for a superstar In a way she kind of is one I loved hearing about the cockettes in this book and the punk scene in SF and the size of practically every man s dick she slept with in the book Sadly Bambi is very immersed in substances and mental illness which doesn t make it good to encounter [...]

    3. 5. Really great stories from a unique perspective I had been looking for a copy of this book for a long time and finally found a copy So glad I got to read it Recommended
