    1. Full disclosure I m the publisher So naturally I think this book is fabulous But the reason I published it is because Christine Moore is a friend of mine, and I m a regular at her amazing cafe I ve tasted all her food, and know how warm and nurturing she is, and see how her many fans are so passionately devoted to her and her cafe and her cooking So I knew this book would turn out great, and it did It s a must for bakers, because the desserts and biscuits and pretzel rolls are fantastic But so a [...]

    2. Note I won a copy of this book from.I enjoy looking at cookbooks, especially ones like the Little Flower Almost every recipe has a full color photograph The only ones without the photograph are for salad dressing and a category called larder which contains things like Roasted Broccolini and Olive Tapenade which are used in other recipes throughout the book One thing I liked about this book was it had a nice mix of vegetarian and non vegetarian recipes My husband is a vegetarian and I plan on mak [...]

    3. I did not love this book I bought it on the recommendation of The Wallstreet Journal and was prepared to be amazed Pros The Buttermilk Pretzel Rolls make this book almost worth the purchase They are great I am always asked for the recipe The photography in the book is beautiful It is a good balance of vegetarian and non vegetarian recipes Cons I do not like having to flip to the back to the Larder section to complete a recipe This fact keeps me from trying out dishes Also, I found the Brown But [...]

    4. I can not wait to go to this place and can t believe I didn t know about it already.Meanwhile, this book is well organized, readable, well photographed, and tempting It s full of really sweet, accessible recipes I ll report back after I ve used some of them Charming Full of potentialter I ve been making the Foley Cake over and over and overAnd now that I ve been here too a couple of times, I can say they are very at this cafe.

    5. I think careful cooking is love, don t you The loveliest thing you can cook for someone who s close to you is about as nice a valentine as you can give Julia ChildI think Christine Moore has given us a lovely Valentine I m not a cook but I read this cookbook from cover to cover The cookbook was like a lovely story and I was completely engrossed Now, I will give the cookbook to my husband who will delight me with Ms Moore s yummy dishes.

    6. The only thing wrong with this cookbook is that it doesn t have a recipe for her green salsa and her maple oat scones I found Little Flower after attending a friend s wedding they catered I love the fresh simple delicious food and read much of the cook book while I was in the cafe for breakfast I decided to buy the cookbook to bring home and I am glad I did I look forward to trying some of the recipes and I enjoy looking at the pretty pictures and reading the recipes for inspiration.

    7. This is a small, thoughtful, lovely, practical and inspiring cookbook Pure, fresh flavors, accessible ingredients and flexible recipes insure that it is a book that will inspire and prove useful for years to come I wish some of the inventive flavor profiles in recent recipes were there, but still a terrific book.

    8. Admittedly biased bc I love the cafe and go there often but even if I didn t the recipes in this small book are delicious, fresh and pretty easy The book is lovely to look at as well with beautiful color photos for many recipes I ve been buying copies to give to friends, it s that good
