    1. didn t know i was getting the dramatization when i ordered this, but in the end i m not disappointed as it manages to convey the story quite effectively in a very compact format i will still eventually have to read a prose version but as far as delivering a scathing parody of the early soviet era the play delivers not entirely sure how it would be staged, as there are several animals featured in important scenes

    2. A dramatic adaptation of Bulgakov s novella Interesting contrast A much different tone with only dialogue More humorous Also active with direct dramatic narration rather than the indirect passive narration of fiction.

    3. A bit vulgar at times, but otherwise enjoyable the scientist regrets his aberrant experiment by the end, and gives a decent soliloquy on the absurdity of the dream to birth Einstein in a lab Some jabs at the Soviet scheme.
