    1. The best book on baking ever made, IMO My mom had a copy that literally disintegrated it was used so often I thought it was lost forever until I found a copy at my local Value Village According to an review, the new version of this book doesn t have the spiral spine, which is a real problem because it s important to be able to lay the book flat so you can read the recipe with ease I m making peanut butter cookies in between typing here Woah, nostalgia

    2. I grow up using this book to bake It is an amazing cook book Unlike most cookbooks the index it organize wonderfully The recipes are easy to follow A lot of cookbooks now a days they tell you to open a box of cake mix to make cake This book tells you how to make a cake the real way I love this book and I highly recommend it.

    3. A wonderful reprint of the 1967 edition of this classic Canadian cookbook, first published in 1913 by the Lake of the Woods Milling Company Easy, tasty recipes for all sorts of meals using ingredients Canadians can obtain, unlike so many cookbooks published in other countries and sold here I recommend especially the banana bread and that Canadian staple, butter tarts.

    4. The go to cookbook in my kitchen All recipes are good and consistent my favorite recipe in here is the pineapple upside down cake Want to know how to make anything s in here Should be a standard reference for all kitchens

    5. On of the best baking books My mom is a pastry chef and she passed this book down to me Pancakes are the best I have ever had using this book

    6. If you only buy one cookbook in your life, this one is it I have been using this cookbook since my mom s copy dating back in the 70 s Time tested and true
