    1. Not as good as the full length books, but better than the Christmas short story The fact that the police figured out who the killer was right around the time her plan to capture said killer worked, in a back handed dumb luck dumb criminal way, made it harder to buy her involvement with the investigation in the first place I did find it kind of insulting to the Tahitian police that they would need let some random, visiting US police officer help with the case I do find it amusing that when Maddie [...]

    2. Unlike anyone else who has given this a rating, I have actually read it, and it s fabulous Maddie lovers will not be disappointed.

    3. As a High Heels series lover, I am sad to report that this short novella was disappointing The numerous spelling and grammar mistakes took away from the overall story and quality of this book It was if the book was published without ever being proof read If you download on Kindle, it s not even a full 100% book, at about 64% the story ends It s fine, since it s a short story, but just make sure you know that before purchasing Unlike the other books in the High Heels series, I didn t find the sto [...]

    4. I have said this before, this series is very similar to the Stephanie Plum series I like it even because the characters actually progress in their relationships The main characters actually marry

    5. I like the easiness of this series but I m starting to get over the formula Maddie is a fun character, but I find myself getting and annoyed with Ramirez So basically a book reads something like this Maddie is lounging about, chatting with Dana, getting butterflies watching Ramirez Somehow, Maddie finds a dead body Ramirez may become involved in his cop capacity Maddie and her posse then start to investigate In between sleuthing, Maddie designs shoes, eats, tries to have sex with Ramirez Towar [...]

    6. Taking place right after the wedding, Jack and Maddie are off on their honeymoon to a resort in Tahiti Jack is actually relaxed for once, even leaving his cell at home in LA so as not to be disturbed by his workplace while he and Maddie spend some very much needed alone time But as usual, Maddie finds a dead body and Jack is asked by the local police to consult If Maddie wants to salvage any of her honeymoon, she needs to find the killer asap I liked this part.up until Maddie s BFFs Dana and Mar [...]

    7. Although this series is known for silly light hearted fun and none of the stories are ever realistic this one was too silly for me because I just couldn t get past 1 Ramirez volunteering to consult while on his honeymoon It wasn t like the island doesn t have a police force.2 That his consulting seemed to require him to work full time i mean attending the autopsy He was a fricking visiting consultant not the lead detective Consulting means the actual police would investigate then run stuff by hi [...]

    8. I wish I could rate this book 0 stars It was truly awful Dick and Jane is expertly written than this A harlequin romance novel would have been several steps up from this book I read it for an online reading group, otherwise I would not have bothered to read it after reading the endorsements.I usually try to find something in every book I read that makes it worth the time I invest into it Even most of the books that I ve read for book club, the books that I didn t like, had something that made i [...]

    9. This was a little short novella After all the hassles of getting married see Mayhem in High Heels , Jack and Maddie head for a peaceful honeymoon in Tahiti But Maddie s luck will just not give her a break and while attending a luau she trips literally over one of the dancers, dead behind the building Since murder isn t common at their location, the local police are than happy to accept Jack s assistance Maddie, sure her honeymoon will consist of Jack being gone investigating, calls her friend D [...]

    10. Honeymoon in High Heels High Heel Mystery Series 5.5 Jack and Maddie Novella where Maddie even solves crimes on her honeymoon.Fashion designer Maddie Springer has just tied the knot and is on her way to honeymoon paradise in Tahiti with her hot new husband Warm sand, cool surf, and a romantic suite all to themselves what could possibly go wrong That is until Maddie stumbles on the dead body of a Tahitian dancer, strangled with her own flower lei Now suddenly her husband is spending time consult [...]

    11. After everything that had gone on Maddie and Jack finally are married read Mayhem and are off for their honeymoon As things may happen Maddie stumbled upon a dead luau dancer strangled by her own lei Jack ends up consulting for the police as they don t have a lot of experience with homicide Maddie is upset that she does not see jack as he is busy with the case while they are suppose to be on their honeymoon Maddie calls Dana and tells her what is going on and suddenly Marco and Dana show up to h [...]

    12. It was goodOT Fashion designer Maddie Springer has just tied the knot and is on her way to honeymoon paradise in Tahiti with her hot new husband Warm sand, cool surf, and a romantic suite all to themselves what could possibly go wrong That is until Maddie stumbles on the dead body of a Tahitian dancer, strangled with her own flower lei Now suddenly her husband is spending time consulting with the local police than cavorting in their private hot tub for two If Maddie wants to have a honeymoon at [...]

    13. 2014 07 13 Not bad but much better as the short story it is rather than a full length one While I have no trouble with novels not being completely believable, I struggled with a lot on this First being Ramirez jumping so full on into the murder investigation that he doesn t have time for Maddie especially since he s not even in his country much less jurisdiction all the way to the end when he rescues her I did enjoy her pals jumping on a plane to come help although that s another implausible bit [...]

    14. Maddie, Maddie, Maddie Can t stay out of trouble no matter how far away from LA you get I think it s why I like you so much Add Dana and Marco and you ve got a troublesome trio that made me laugh I kind of wish that this book was a full on novel, not a novella, but it did the trick, and it was a nice segue before I started Fearless in High Heels Keep em coming, Gemma Written by Rebekah Martin, author of Sugar and Spies

    15. I love Maddie Springer I always feel so bad for Ramirez because she just can t help but stumble into murders and Dana and Marco are so not good about keeping her out of the investigating, which ultimately helps her solve the case I wish this was longer and not just a short novella 74 pages is just not enough I want Can t wait to read 7 in the series Danger in High Heels

    16. This is a novella in between book and it was cute.of course Maddie stumbles literally across another dead body and ends up helping solve the crime Even though this is short, the story flows well and it is Maddie, Dana and Marco s normal situations that they find themselves involved with I never would have guessed the killer, Gemma does a great job of leaving some clues but not enough that you might guess whodoneit.

    17. I enjoyed the book, but did not realize how short the story was considering I read it on my NOOK It came with a 40 page preview of another book too I thought it flowed nicely and was always moving forward to the next idea It seemed to lack a bit of conflict as well meaning everything seemed to go as planned And again, it did just seem to end for me.Overall an easy and quick read Good read for short trips.

    18. Very cute honeymoon short story and the only reason I didn t give it 5 stars is because come on the friends show up I wanted her to help Ramirez solve this one, not have her friends show up on like the most important time of her life.

    19. I just love the high heel series I can t wait to get the newest one I don t know how this one escaped me Maddie and Jack has the best relationship She has the best, snoopiest friends and family Another good one by Ms Halliday.

    20. This series of books is corney but catches your attention For some reason you don t want to put them down.

    21. Clever short story, that could happen to anyone Thoroughly good read I would recommend it to anyone who has a spare hour, or those that are sitting on the beach.

    22. Another short book.i liked, but may be getting tired of Maddie thinking she needs to help with the investigation and that she tries to solve herself
