    1. London and Pascal are back and at each other s throats than ever Not only is this book a great sequel in terms of finding out about Spectrum and the addition of another amazing murder mystery, it is also the continuation of a very volatile relationship between the human cop London and his new lover and partner Pascal The suspense hit me from both sources and made for a very interesting mix and a great read.London is as human as they come He has issues, is prejudiced without even realizing how [...]

    2. Can a vampire and human be lovers when there is so much ill blood between the two races Pascal the vampire is love with London, a human cop Both work together in a joint race investigative law enforcement department While working on a case together, their relationship is strained to the point of breaking If they thought the test of their love was over, they are dreadfully wrong A war is coming and they are unfortunately on opposing sides Opting to be neutral territory is not an option. This is th [...]

    3. From the starting point I somehow didn t like the plot how it was written Pascal and London come together as a couple to fast from my point of view Being human in that book mean you are somehow a lower class Londons character should be much stronger Also I didn t like the way Pascal worked around London He knew from the starting point from where wind blows but he was not fully open to London because he was scared to lose him A little childish if you ask me Then when he is almost death and realiz [...]

    4. 4 HeartsFirst published at MM Good Book Reviewsmmgoodbookreviews.wordpressThis story is part of a series and I recommend that they be read in order London and Pascal are back and they have a new case to solve Young men are being drained and left in the middle of roads It looks like they have a rogue Vampire on the loose, but as they dig deeper they discover a conspiracy Pascal and London s relationship hits a rocky patch when Pascal s past and London s prejudice clash can they sort out their dif [...]

    5. The strain is mounting between Pascal and London in their work, as well as their personal relationship The case of murdered humans by what appears to be vampires is causing dangerously emotional clashes New information reveals that the homicides are only the beginning of what is in store for the Spectrum Island.Stirrings is the second book in the Spectrum Skies series The theme of the storyline is a romantic mystery with a political twist The history of the island illustrates the humans as the i [...]

    6. This was a painful read I had really enjoyed the first book in this series and this one flipped the series around so much that it fails to stand up to even one full star, in my view Here is why this book dove into Bondage Domination Sadomasochism big time with bloodletting, violence, abusive sex, nothing at all like the first one which did have some bedroom play but no where near this Next, the main character London was sabotaged in this book He goes from an independent, self confident, head of [...]

    7. The second part continues just few weeks after the first part The main storyline is circling around a new huge case, which involves Pascal past behaviour The storyline is written in a way, which allows a reader to understand why does Pascal behave as he did, and even why does London feel as he did, too I really liked that At first I my thoughts circled around a basic fact, Pascal should man up and simply tell London about his past, but logically he was scared Scared to loose London s trust and h [...]

    8. The item that caught my interest in this series with the first book was the world building The author reading does an amazing job in setting it up and explaining it Now there are some things that aren t explained until something occurs but that can make some interest and drama to the story Now with this particular story it s London s continued prejudice even after getting to know Pascal London s own sister is involved with a vampire but London still isn t thawed I felt through most of the story [...]

    9. Better than the first installment The sex between Pascal and London doesn t feel as degrading as it did and there s of an emotional impact in this book There was moment though where I wasn t sure if Pascal really cheated on London or if he was remembering a memory of Daniel and it was being described it s why I shelved it as cheater Like the first book, this one was also hard to put down I look forward to reading the next installment.
