    1. Very impressed with the writing talent of Caroline Woodward I d argue that her first foray into novel writing was successful than several novels written by adults for the YA genre The historic research and detail in the novel is top notch, and of the three Leaders and Legacies novels I ve read, I have to say this was the most detailed I especially appreciated the factual content included at the end of the novel. As with the first two, this novel had me hitting Google and other quick searches whi [...]

    2. Pleased with the calibre of writing making this story much than I d expected A win from the 6th Canadian Reading Challenge, it arrived promptly and I dove into the story as promptly Adventure, action, mystery and youthful characters that showed intelligence and fortitude impressive.Although billed as an adventure of a former Canadian Prime Minister, this is purely fiction using his family background of summers spent in the area of Windsor, Ontariongrats to the author, Caroline Woodward, on an e [...]

    3. I was thoroughly impressed with this novel Caroline Woodward is in her teens, yet has managed to write an engaging children s book The characters are well formed, the mystery is thought out well, and children will love to follow along with Paul and his friends as they figure out the mystery. It also contains historical background of the Windsor area and a discussion of Aboriginal rights Excellent first novel.I received this book through the FirstReads program.

    4. A great read and not just because it takes place around the area where I am from.It has some history in it, some social commentary and it is an easy read for both kids and adults.Kudos to Woodward, for writing her first book so young Great job, keep it up.
