    1. Grace has been accused of murder, and is called the Black Widow by the town because she has had three husbands die Brock gave up practicing criminal law and now focuses on contract law, but Jesse, Grace s son, is determined to have Brock represent his mom After meeting Grace, Brock knows he has to try and help her.I really enjoyed this novella What an interesting look into what passed as the justice system in the frontier I loved how the trial ended The characters were well developed, the story [...]

    2. I really, really loved this one Grace Davenport has just lost her third husband, and she s accused of his murder Saying she s innocent doesn t do much good in the town where everyone already believes her guilty She was arguing with him in public before he disappeared, sowhat is any self respecting frontier town supposed to do Brock Daniels gave up arguing criminal cases when he lost the last one and his best friend as a consequence He s not about to do it again except he s Grace s only chance An [...]

    3. This was a fun novella It s perfect if you don t have a whole lot of time but still want to read Grace has been accused of killing her husband and her previous two husbands and has been dubbed the Black Widow Her son believes in her innocence and hires the fancy new lawyer in town to help clear her name Brock has his own demons, but can t stand by and let Grace hang for something she didn t do It s crazy to think how wild these times were and how unorganized their justice system was in the west [...]

    4. Grace is known as the Black Widow because she s had three husbands die Brock is an attorney who gave up criminal law because his cocky attitude caused him to lose the case of his best friend He only deals with contracts and real estate until Grace s son Jessie shows up to hire him to defend his mother Through strange happenings Grace is found innocent but then Jessie helps Brock to find the real killer.

    5. 3.5 starsI really liked this one.Though it wasn t as romantic or action packed as I prefer, I thought the story was sweet and different from your average western romance. The discovery of the murderer seemed a bit too easy to me and the romance contrite Nevertheless, I enjoyed the story, with Jesse and Grace and Brock.

    6. This novella had an interesting story line and characters you don t meet in every Western I wish the writing was stronger It wasn t awful but it was weak, so the story didn t have the impact it could have.

    7. Again, these are novellas so short, fast read This was an interesting look into the Wild West court system Very interesting I would not have wanted to be on trial during that time.

    8. My most favourite of the Four Weddings and a Kiss novella series The story was sweet, romantic, comedic, had a small mystery, and was realistic.
