    1. I got the ARC of this yesterday and started reading it today and I didn t stop until I was finished It s a small book same trim size and page count as The Perks of Being a Wallflower , so it only took about two and a half hours to read from start to finish, but it wouldn t have mattered if it had been twice the length I just couldn t put it down.It reminded me of The Catcher in the Rye in that it s a story about a teenage kid in this case, a very famous one who spends several days on a soul sear [...]

    2. I ll admit that when I received a preview copy of this book from the publisher, I had my doubts Did I really want to hear anything about JB, let alone read a whole book about him But after taking a peek at the back cover blurb, I became intrigued A tell all book written by JB s id Now that was almost too good an offer to pass up, even for someone like me, who d had than her fill of JB Fever coming from every corner of the media out there And besides, I d already read previous books by the same [...]

    3. I am neither a Belieber if anything I find Bieber mildly annoying and his singing too high pitched nor someone who knows very much about pop culture, but was attracted by the thought experiment of this book The premise is that the id, ego, and superego, as based on Freud s theories, are sentient and separate from Bieber, whom they influence This book is narrated by the id, which is the most primitive, in that it is the embodiment of pure pleasure and self satisfaction et etc A little knowledge b [...]

    4. I fully expected not to like The Curious Disappearance of Justin Bieber by J.T Holden Imagine my surprise when I found myself hooked on the book after a few pages I mean, what s not to like about a story told from the viewpoint of Justin Bieber s id This little book is part satire, part fantasy, part psychology, part coming of age story all rolled into one tale of the spring of 2012 when Justin JB supposedly disappeared for three days I do not even know if this really happened, but it really doe [...]

    5. I am not a JB fan at all and pushed myself to read this book on the recommendation of a friend, but once I started reading, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was not at all what I expected and could not put it down It is well written and the story is being told from the subconscious instinctual force hidden within all of us This book can relate to practically everyones struggles choices to be made in life along with the inner battles between and the meshing of the hidden personalities t [...]

    6. It s tough to write this review without giving too much away, but I can say that this book is a wild ride from start to finish In fact, I read the whole thing in a day Set within the mind of a young superstar with the bright lights of Las Vegas as a backdrop, The Curious Disappearance of JB is a swagalicious must read for anyone who has ever wondered exactly what happens when you give in to your most primitive impulses and desires.

    7. I don t want to give away anything about this book except to say, J.T you could be a therapist for celebrity pop stars gone bad This book was not at all what I expected You could literally remove JB from the title, insert any kid celeb gone bad, male or female, and the story still works.Very good read
