    1. It takes some true talent to make each character in a novella spring off the page like they re alive Elisabeth has been in the wedding party nine times in twenty four months and is feeling restless about her own future However, she never dreamed that the handsome groomsman opposite her would turn out to be her ex boyfriend from high school And pretty quickly they re striking sparks The question is if they ll find love again, or if they ll come away burned worse than beforeA delightful, fun story [...]

    2. You can t have much fun than the time you spend reading this sweetheart of a novella You Can t Hurry Love is a fun and sassy blend of a long ago, but not begotten romance between two high school sweethearts that aren t so sweet on each other at the opening of the book Moments filled with spark and vinegar keeps the dialogue zinging between the hero and heroine Old wounds and hurtful broken promises between young twenty somethings up the tension as our two characters now face each other for the [...]

    3. This story immediately got my attention and wouldn t let me go Jamie and Elisabeth are high school sweethearts with different plans and determined to make a go of a long distance relationship However, those plans change and many years later they are in SUCH a surprise to be at the same wedding of their best friends Never a dull moment in this story and I truly enjoyed how Elisabeth responds to this My favorite characters were Tori and Bellamy, Elisabeth s best friends Tori is the bride They both [...]

    4. I totally enjoyed this charming novella As always, Beth K Vogt provides readers with lovely, relatable characters and sweet romance Yet even in these few pages, there are complications and fully developed relationships The story and romance never felt rushed or contrived, and while I would have loved to read of this story, it was perfectly paced for a novella Elisabeth and Jamie were high school sweethearts Their relationship fell apart during the time they spent separated by long distances Now [...]

    6. I didn t think it was possible, but this may be Vogt s best story yet It seems she continues to deliver one winner after another The way Elisabeth and Jamie reconnected years after their painful breakup and even how their friendship developed was definitely unique My only complaint was that I want to read of their story

    7. 10. I loved this sweet e novella Beth Vogt has mastered the art of creating relatable, complex characters in gorgeous settings And this destination wedding takes place in the luxurious and historic Brown Palace Hotel in Denver, Colorado at Christmas We were married at Christmas, so I just love Christmas weddings But it s the characters that make Vogt s books.I love to read books where I get to know characters a little at a time and that how this author writes, doling out clues about their lives just [...]

    11. You Can t Hurry Love, by Beth Vogt, kept me laughing, and made me shed a few tears Are there second chances when it comes to love In high school, Elisabeth Straker and Jamie Travers had a love they were certain would last a lifetime only, because of misunderstandings, it didn t.Now, years later, the two one time best friends are thrust together as mutual friends get married Sparks fly with mishaps that have them running into each other when they d rather avoid the other Vogt has mastered the ar [...]

    12. I love trying a new author and getting sucked into the book I didn t want to put this one down It kept up a good level of tension and conflict to keep me going, wondering what was going to happen and what had happened in the past to get Jamie and Elisabeth to where they were I felt the author did a good job of avoiding info dumps and giving out information at a good pace I liked seeing how the relationship between the main characters developed, and there were some good funny moments I ll definit [...]

    13. A fun, quick, satisfying read Fans of Beth Vogt will love this latest addition to her destination wedding series The second chance romance and well developed characters pulled me right into the story Despite my best efforts to slow down and savor the experience, I finished this novella in two days I m excited for this author s next full length novel, which releases next month Well done, Beth Vogt.

    14. An enjoyable read about first love, dealing with the consequence of choice, and second chances I also quite liked the mix of friendship and faith woven throughout the narrative The writer s style works for me All in all a good way to spend some reading hours Definitely think I ll be checking out some of this author s other works.

    15. This is what a Christmas novella should be It s not technically a holiday book, but it has lots of action in the season I love that there were real issues like self doubt and immature choices touched on even in the short format Beth Vogt is coming into her own as a great writer
