    1. Rather poorly written, but there s always something new to learn from a Holocaust memoir Jack Brauns lived in Lithuania and ended up in the Kovno ghetto before ending up in Dachau A good chunk of the book is devoted to explaining how he became a surgeon and what he did with his life after the Holocaust While useful in its own way, this section of the book was far less interesting.
