    1. Mini review This was so much fun At first the format bothered me but I continued reading I got used to it Loved the characters and their interactions with one another The romance was really cute Highly recommend.

    2. The format of this was so much fun and I absolutely loved the friendship between Avery and Coco I feel like I don t read about popular nice girls them EVER, so this was a nice change Funny, cute and all around entertaining, I d definitely recommend

    3. Things I did while reading IT S NOT ME, IT S YOU made a second lunch so I could justify reading a little longer Pretended to be folding laundry, when I was really reading Brought it with me to a doctor s appointment, and then, because I had it with me, read it in the car, and get honked at because I didn t see the light had turned green.Mostly I had a big goofy smile on my face the whole time I was reading.Oh boy, did I ever love this book It was pitched to me as CLUELESS meets HIGH FIDELITY, an [...]

    4. This book Was fucking Hilarious Highly, highly rec to fellow fans of Tell Me Three Things I laughed out loud an obnoxious number of times, totally adored Avery, and shipped it so hard ETA I see in another review a mention of this having been comped to Clueless, and that s actually a pretty excellent comp It s been almost a month since I read this book and I can t stop thinking about how much I adored it, so, 5 stars it gets

    5. Because I was realizing that maybe what mattered wasn t whether you were in a relationship or not What mattered was that you could still be yourself in that relationship What a fun book It s Not Me, It s You is one of the funniest books I ve read in awhile The characters are bubbly and the high school drama is entertaining It s really a perfect summer book Things I Liked I really loved the narration style in this story It s written as an oral history report, and reads as very conversational I lo [...]

    6. This book had a lot of potential and I liked the story The synopsis sounded super cute and I was definitely intrigued This book wasn t totally for me unfortunately I liked some parts and the characters, but there are definitely some things I would change. The characters started out great and I liked them all I really liked Avery s attitude and how she was in general However, throughout the book, there were just wayyy too many characters for me to understand and I really started to not like any of [...]

    7. Here I was, at bookcon looking through the different booths, then I stumbled on this beautiful book It was an ARC,and it was contemporary, and I was craving a contemporary This book guys, it is so good Even better than I expected We basically follow one girl s dating history over the years, and she is trying to figure out why the relationships didn t work This results in hilarious interviews and stories, and they all have tons of charm Avery s character may seem super stereotypical, but she also [...]

    8. A solid 4.5 A young woman revisits her many ex boyfriends through interviews with her friends and acquaintances in this comedic romance. After she s dumped by her current boyfriend just days before prom, 17 year old blonde, white Avery subverts an assignment at San Anselmo Prep on oral histories in order to retrace the map of her love life from middle school on Told entirely in the form of interviews with others and including editorial interjections by Avery, this novel details each of her previo [...]

    9. Okay, another book I totally bought because I was obsessed with the cover will actually not the cover but what was under the cover It has this brilliant pink and purple underneath and those two under covers always get me I LOVE THEM DEARLY, and the moment I saw it at Barnes and Noble in the wild, I knew I would have to own it and I mean, it does sound epic I was a frosty, unlovable ice queen, incapable of love I should just build a giant snowman and lock myself in an ice castle and let Coco go o [...]

    11. Disclaimer I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an unbiased review.I have two words for this book So Cute.I ll admit, I wasn t so sure when it started It was funny right from the beginning, but I didn t know if I d be able to enjoy the interview format all the way through It genuinely is just one long transcript of interviews and commentary However, after a chapter or two, I was able to relax into it, and it ended up being a lot of fun The comments here and there from Avery were a [...]

    12. Because I m a bit of a journalism nerd and know how oral histories work, It s Not Me, It s You is 10000% not for me.Oral histories typically have one on one interviews that are about the person or event being remembered but also reveal what kind of person the interviewee is was There isn t a lot of input from the narrator, nor does the interviewer do much than draw as much of the story as they can from the interviewee For instance, a college friend of mine joined a group dedicated to the oral h [...]

    13. You know what this book was Cute, cute, and cute It was silly, fun, adorable, and happy It was 288 pages of lightness. The Format This book was written in an interview format, so basically the book was Avery s final history paper I love reading books in unique formats It s fun to mix it up Also, I loved all the sarcastic comments and Editor s Notes that came along with each person s perspective. The Cuteness So Avery is a mega popular girl who gets dumped right before prom To me, that s really no [...]

    14. Ahh so shippy and hilarious I m just going to be over here smiling from the adorbs This was absolutely hilarious and adorable I was hesitant with the formatting of this one at first but once I got into a groove, I flew through it I loved all the pop culture references Mean Girls within the first 5 pages , how smart all the characters are without being pretentious and the great cast of characters I wasn t expecting to love Avery as much as I did, what a fantastic main character Plus I totally shi [...]

    15. I literally could not put this one down I loved every second of it Another home run from Stephanie Kate Strohm.

    16. Was this perfect No, but it was so unexpectedly funny and just what I didn t know I needed Such a quick and cute read

    17. Very funny and clever with a kind of epistolary format that I love The audio of this has a full cast and was very amusing, if a little light and fluffy on content I ll be looking out for of this author s work as I love her humour.

    18. I absolutely loved this book It was very interesting and was very surprising at parts but I loved it Plus the ending was my favorite I will have to say that this is probably my favorite books.

    19. This review was originally posted on Latte Nights Reviews. As the synopsis states, this story is about a girl who has never been single NEVER She s always dating someone, but prom is near and she just got dumped A class assignment is handed out and Avery decides to do it on her past relationships and why they didn t work out.Avery s story was slightly comedic and at times, fun I enjoyed her story and all of her thoughts and footnotes added to the research I also loved the format of the story All [...]

    20. I wasn t expecting the interview format, but it worked really well for this story and because there was a full cast audio, which is always a plus This story was very fluffy and light hearted as main character Avery strives to see where every one of her relationships went wrong by way of interviewing each of her exes I couldn t imagine doing that myself, and this could have gone really, really wrong, but all in all it was cute and the perfect way to start off the Monday after Spring Break It s al [...]

    21. Different kind of writing I sort of liked it Similar to that new book of the Harry Potter series the one with Harry s son in the writing style.Honestly, it was kind of predictible, I figured out what was going to happen at the end of the book a couple of chapters through, but it wasn t as bad as everyone said it would be.

    22. Wow Was this ever CUTE At first I wasn t really a fan of the writing style, but it grew on me very quickly The entire book is told with dialogue there s no exposition or descriptive writing other than how the characters describe the setting Avery was a great character I liked that she wasn t just stereotypically popular with no depth she s also really smart and wants to be liked for than her looks She also gets extra points in my book for liking Roman Holiday which is one of my favorite movies [...]

    25. I picked up a ARC sampler at B N and was definitely interested in checking it out after seeing it float around the blogosphere Based on what s included in these nineteen pages, it looks like it will be a hilarious contemporary told in an interview presentation format By the way, the girl giving the presentation, Avery Dennis, is the most popular girl in school and the head of the prom committee and she s just been dumped by her boyfriend, the most recent in a long string of them.

    26. Wonderful cutesy contemporary romance perfect for this time of year, especially with the prom theme A nice little read in an interesting format of the narrative being told through interviews The ending was a little predictable for me but I think that s just because that s what I wanted to happen from the beginning plus it is foreshadowed through the book so it was kinda implied it would happen Great read
