    2. I woke up one morning to see that Harlequin had mailed me free books, in the hopes that I d answer some questions about them I may not read Christian fic often, but I totally will for free I really, really enjoyed, it, too Lousy title which they heard a lot about , but strong characters, solid writing and a really interesting story, low on cliches Possibly my favorite romance I ve read this year, even The characters religious convictions were woven in subtly and were part of them and the storyli [...]

    3. Leaving the Christian angle out of it, this book was so simplistic in style as compared to other Harlequins I read where the prose did NOT insult my intelligence All throughout, I had to wonder if Bylin is a genuine Christian and such a simple style is common in this sub subgenre, or if this book was written by someone figuring it s what Christians like to read It had a phony, pablum feel to it, as if it was calculatedly written to appeal to what some focus group decided Christians like A puzzle [...]

    5. Well I was expecting this story to go a little differently than the way it actually did I was thinking Beau would propose to Dani and they d get married and then she d fall in love with him and it would be one big happy throw up ending Like I was in the mood for Nope I m not saying it went badly, but I m feeling a little mis led at the order of things in the synopsis Anyhoozer, Victoria Bylin s nice little tale about how Beau and Dani come to love one another wasa little on the dull side It was [...]

    6. This book surprised me I got it from the library and didn t like the cover very much My first impression was that it would be a hokey romance story Well, as a friend said to me, You can t judge a book by it s cover, I was definitely wrong I liked the story very much The plot worked out a bit differently from what I m used to in these historical romances and I liked it I don t want to give away the ending so I won t say any than that I thought it was very well written The conversations were real [...]

    7. I don t usually get into books set in the 1800 s But I read a few pages at the Store and didn t want to put it down So I just had to buy it Love Inspired books are always Inspirational but this one reached down inside me and rocked me to my core I was laughing and crying and praising god I felt what Beau and Clay were feeling in the Canyon God had reached out and touched both of them, when they needed it most When they were ready to except his love Loved the little things like TC and the cows we [...]

    8. After Of Men and Angels, I knew this author wouldn t disappoint me I thoroughly enjoyed Dani and Beau s story The author took a few turns that surprised me, and as a writer that s always a plus I like it when the story heads a direction I didn t expect Victoria writes about children well, a skill in itself I felt as though I knew the secondary characters, too, especially Josh and Adie I liked that the tale was a little gritty, because the details made the setting and characters realistic in a ti [...]

    9. This was a good book for it not only being a historical romance but also a christian romance VB had to have spent countless hours on her research and it shows in the book There was no feeling of being apart from what the leads were doing and it felt like a natural flow I enjoyed this book and do reconmend it.

    10. I really enjoyed reading this book The one thing that I absolutely loved was it wasn t the normal romance story So many romance stories you read today are the same story, just different settings, people and time periods This was different I loved it

    11. A roamnce with a terrific hero I thought I could smell the stink coming off hero Beau Morgan when he came off the range into town badly in need of a bath.
