    2. Oh lord I had a blast reading Stealing Jason Wilde I just love to laugh out loud when I am read a book and that is what happened with this story I was not sure how I could relate to a fifty something group but I did Mostly because they are as a crazy as I am Some might say that it is very unlikely that a situation like this would happen, I agree with them We just need to be willing to step out of our rational mind for a while and enjoy the story for what it is That is what I did, and trust me, I [...]

    3. This was a really cute romance about a group of 50 somethings who get together each year for a weekend in the Hamptons This tradition began when the women were all stay at home mothers with young children It has continued through divorces and other drama This year four women make the trip Annie is a divorced children s librarian who is set in her routine and likes it She s the narrator Deb is an African American Emergency Room nurse who tends to be the voice of reason Kelly is an attractive, new [...]

    4. Annie Reynolds is the first person narrator in Stealing Jason Wilde, and of the four women characters, she was my favorite A fiftyish librarian, divorced from her husband for three years, she is settled into her routines She isn t sure she will have a second chance at love, and even , she isn t sure she wants it She likes things the way they are.Or so she thinks When she and her friends, Kelly, Deb, and Tina, head off to the Hamptons, they will be staying in their regular cottage on Dune Road Us [...]

    6. What an absolute joy it has been to read a book with well written characters past their 40s but definitely not past their prime Typically the only time this happens is in something dreary or a mystery with an aging knitting bag wielding amateur sleuth yes, Jane Marple, I m looking at you Annie, Kelly and Deb are in their early 50s and have been friends since their children were little For the past six years they ve taken a week every spring and rented a beach house in the Hamptons with other fri [...]

    7. I thought this would be a fun, light hearted read that I could get through in a day or two, or so the synopsis would have me believe I promise you, I now know about the Hamptons than I do about the characters in which I read about There were also these stupid little mistakes that made me want to tear my hair out One example The FBI come by to do a house to house check so the girls switch the tags to fool THE FBI Now, I come from a small town in Georgia I currently live in a city, but that s not [...]

    8. Delicious Romp What a delicious romp Dee Ernst has given us I devoured the book immediately and am headed back for a second helping As a woman of a certain age who has girlfriends across the country who amass during the summer for a long weekend or a week of insanity, this book left me laughing my rear end off At times I actually wondered if the author was a secret member of our group While we thankfully do not have a Tina among our members, unfortunately we know a few, and I can honestly see th [...]

    24. I have loved Dee Ernst and her quirky women since reading Better Off Without Him This book was no exception I relate to 50 ish women and the trials of divorcehood Though the comedy of errors was a bit of a stretch at times, I completely fell in love with how women of a certain age would be willing to do drastic things for their best girlfriends Once again, Dee has given us women with substance and craziness all rolled into wishes of best intentions The sleazy guys were pretty well drawn as well [...]

    28. I liked the premise of this book It was a fun idea for a bunch of women to have a girls trip and run into some trouble It surprised me a little that the women were all in their 50 s I pictured them much younger, even though I knew their ages The predicament they got in to with Jason Wilde was innocent enough I thought they were just doing the right thing trying to make sure he was ok It was funny, with believable situations, misconceptions, and life lessons at the same time I m glad it all worke [...]
