    1. Cautionary Fables and Fairy Tales Asian Edition is the third book in a series of graphic novels that tackles old stories and gives them new life in comic form This volume was filled with fantastic art and fun, interesting stories I can t speak to the diversity of creators, but it is wonderful to see a book dedicated to various Asian fables Even better, Asian tales from places other than exclusively China and Japan A good book for all ages, and also a wonderful addition to anyone s comic collecti [...]

    2. The Great Flood by Stu Livingston The art for this was adorable, and the story is classic. The Demon with the Matted Hair by Kate Ashwin The artwork has improved, and the story was good.Frog Skin by Nilah Magruder This was all well done. The Girl Who Married a Tiger by Cat Farris I loved how this fable was done, and the artwork was very cute.Ghost Pepper by Shannon Campbell and Molly Nemecek The style wasn t my favorite, but the story was good.Urashima Taro by Jason Caffoe Perfect The Tiger, the B [...]

    3. While everyone has probably heard the European fairy tales in some form, this takes the readers to new lands and creatures We meet shape shifters like the tanuki and kitsune fox, spectral ghost orbs, rivers full of crocodile people, elephant goddesses, ghost women, and many All the artists brought together had lovely personal styles that they adapted into their stories I really enjoyed the characterizations in The Lucky Teapot and Ghost Pepper Overall, a very well put together collection of Asi [...]

    4. This was a great book It s an anthology of short comics based on Asian folktales and legends So most of the stories won t be very familiar to Western audiences, though a few are actually pretty similar to Western tales But it s a lot of fun reading the unfamiliar stories Some of the stories are really funny Some are really sweet Some are really sad Some are kinda creepy But they re all great There are no bad stories in the lot There are a decent number of Asian American creators involved, though [...]

    5. An anthology of Asian stories in comic book form, mostly adapted from traditional sources, though a couple seem to be original Most of the stories are good some are extremely short or end quite abruptly, in pure fairy tale form and the art is an interesting mix of talents.Disclaimer I was a backer on the Kickstarter for the first print of this volume.

    6. Some really cute stories and some cute stories with really cool art Some are duds, but that s expected with an anthology no matter what Some end rather abruptly, but as another reviewer said that s typical of fairytales Overall, an enjoyable read.

    7. Some cute stories, some interesting than others My favorite might be Ghost Pepper , that was cute and had some nice, solid art.
