    1. I couldn t get in to this book I didn t realize it was a novella when I started it They typos drove me nuts And it was rushed, as most novellas are I think it has potential for a full length novel with editing and smoother writing style.

    2. Love heartbreakMoving story of betrayal heart break and redemption The maturity of Honor is very painful but it is balanced by her bffEmma steadiness The Spence family even though influenced by the hummingbirds try to change destiny without much success and this fact warms the heart of the readers

    3. 4.5 starsLately I ve been in a rut of putting down books and not picking them up again because I lost interest at one point and just never continued This was definitely not the case with this book, Hummingbird Dreams by Summer Donnelly From the very beginning the intrigue and drama flowed seamlessly from one page to the next as past and present came to life in a vivid and sometimes shocking and unexpected way I enjoyed the creativeness that Donnelly used in a somewhat crowded genre and made the [...]

    4. Hummingbird Dreams by Summer Donnelly is definitely my kind of book I adore the whole magical realism aspect, the real life situations, and how events from the past reappear to cause imbalance in current life and how it shifts tests relationships While this is admittedly a familiar trope in literature, I thought Summer Donnelly did a great job of making the storyline feel fresh and original, and best of all, completely believable even with the slightly magical elements This is so much than just [...]

    5. I found myself wavering around a bit while reading Hummingbird Dreams by Summer Donnelly At first I was immediately interested in the story as the author wastes no time in setting up the overall premise and conflict of the book an unexpected pregnancy with a lot of drama attached to a young teen girl But then the pacing slowed and launched into a bunch of telling backstory with italics, no less the worst there were times I felt the story wasn t as focused as I d like, with some conversations and [...]

    6. Hummingbird Dreams by Summer Donnelly is an engaging novel that captured my attention from the beginning and never once let it go I was hooked after the enticing opening and was curious to find out about what got Honor in that situation besides the obvious It was interesting as we travel back to see her relationship with Spence and those circumstances thought the Sugar Sight gift was pretty cute and liked the whole mythology behind the town s families The narrative and dialogue propelled the st [...]

    7. GoodThis was a great little story Well written with a lot of tender and sweet moments I love happy endings.

    8. I really liked this book, much than I expected to The writing is easy to get lost in, and flows seamlessly from one scene to the next Enjoyed the main characters of Honor and Simon Spence but the supporting ones were just as great Adored Emma and Ruthanne was just so aggravating Props to the author for doing a good job with the dialogue to show the plot unfolding and progressing forward, instead of doing the lazy narrative telling so many authors tend to do We really feel like we are a part of [...]

    9. Hummingbird Dreams was terrific Once I started reading I didn t want to stop until I d finished the whole thing, but it did take me a few nights Within the first few pages we are intrigued by Honor s predicament, I particularly enjoyed the author s voice and style of writing The interweaving plotlines were well crafted and original, and the themes of love, life, betrayal, and just overall challenges people face were handled with respect and felt authentic, not like contrived drama often used to [...]

    10. I love this sweet and interesting romance The powerfully written and good paced storyline has some twists and I m enthusiastically over the Gift of the Sugar Sight The characters are well developed and reach your heart, especially the hug from find out In a town full of people with all kind of Gifts You can hardly expect an uneventful normal live Before the HEA of Honor and Spence lies a long and unwieldy way, luckily no cliffhanger. My trip to Harper s Mill was entertaining and I will return any [...]

    11. Sweet love story with a touch of magicThe author added an interesting and unique twist to a sweet love story no pun intended about a boy and a girl There s the requisite heartbreak and missed connection, of course, but a little magic helps the couple overcome the odds I read this in a day and thoroughly enjoyed it.

    12. SweetWhat a love story Even though got hungry for sweets while reading this book I couldn t put it down Definitely worth the read I highly recommend this book if you like sweet romance with a little bit of a witchy twist.
