    1. A year ago Laurel and Danny had a one night stand it could have been as Danny thought that he and Laurel had connected A year ago, they went their separate ways, and Danny never heard from Laurel again That is until now when Laurel turns up with a baby on Danny s doorstep It turns out that Laurel got pregnant that night and disappeared to have a baby Danny s baby Now Laurel is back with papers for Danny to sign, to relinquish his parenting rights of his little girl The thing is though that Dann [...]

    2. I admit I haven t read the first in this series but jumping in I didn t find that I necessarily needed to it may have helped having a little of a background into their story but I managed to catch onto what was going on This book is told from Danny s side as he comes to terms with a new baby he didn t know exist and getting used to the shared custody while still having feelings for Laurel the mother This was a great quick read and I feel that the ending has left an opening for another book to r [...]

    3. Yours and Mine is a sweet story, even though the subject matter causes a lot of heartache Laurel gets pregnant by Danny a young man of 18 who she met up with every summer for the last 3 years Alone and afraid she conceals her pregnancy from everyone I will say there is book one Positively Mine It may help to understand Laurel better as this book is told from Danny s POV.Danny hasn t seen Laurel for a year, then she comes towards him with a small baby in the stroller This is when Laurel tells him [...]

    4. As wth most romance novels, you know what is going to happen before it even begins.Laurel has finally decided to tell Danny about their baby together Not so that they can be a happy family, he can pay child support, or even be in the child s life She has told him so he can give away all parental rights and step of Laurel and Carolyn s life forever Surprisingly enough Laurel is in for a surprise.Danny doesn t want to give up his daughter so easily and feels that he should be there for her Maybe i [...]

    5. This is a story of a custody struggle between two young parents Its a story of growing trust and coming of age and working out relationships It is the pinnacle of a new adult novel, and a fairly clean one Yours and Mine starts the same way that Positively Mine ended, with Laurel telling Danny that they have a three month old daughter together Something that really stood out to me in this novel is that the characters stay very true to themselves.Laurel is 3 4 years younger than Danny and has had [...]

    6. Positively Mine was in Laurel s POV and I did miss being in her head coz Yours and Mine is in Danny s POV.In this book, we see where in life Danny is and how he deals with this life altering news that he is now a father While he is definitely surprised by Laurel s news, he takes it all in his stride and tries to find a way to deal with this whole situation amidst his own insane family drama. He definitely struggles very hard to be a good dad something Laurel was not prepared for and she fights to [...]

    7. Christine Duval did it again with another addicting book There is something about Laurel and Danny that is so intriguing The story captured my attention from the first page and I actually was so sad when I reached the last page I liked that this story was from Danny s perspective You get a real feel for what his life is like, some background on him and Laurel that isn t provided in book 1 and how he handles being told that he has a child I really got into Danny s head and experienced the story a [...]

    8. 3.5 STARSYours And Mine is the second book in the Freshman Forty series and, although it is a sequel to Positively Mine and reading it definitely provides some context for this second book and allows you to better understand Laurel, I think it could be easily read as a standalone It s a second chance romance told entirely in Danny s POV and picks up a bit before the ending of Positively Mine Not as slow paced but just as realistic as the last book, this second instalment of the series gives us a [...]

    9. Yours and Mine picks up right where Positively Mine left off Laurel visits Danny and tells him he s the father to her baby girl, Carolyn Initially, he s shocked and pissed off She pretty much tries to let him off the hook and let him sign all of his rights away The problem is he doesn t want off the hook He and his family have a lot of issues that he needs to stay in town for and Laurel needs to get back to her college They try a visitation schedule that the court makes for them He continues liv [...]

    10. This is the follow up to Positively Mine and I love that it is told from Danny s point of view It starts a little before where the last book leaves off with Laurel coming to talk to Danny and tell him about their baby Much like the first one, this is a quick read Danny has stuff going on with his family and is trying to get through school just like Laurel but his approach to parenthood is definitely different than Laurel s was.I enjoyed the continuation of the story and the writing style I was s [...]

    11. this is the second story in the freshman forty series, it takes off from where the first left off, I loved having Danny s POV and seeing how Laurel and Danny play outis is a great story on seeing how parents can work together for there kids.I voluntarily reviewed an copy of this book

    12. Told from Danny s POV, this continuation of Positively Yours is pretty good Laurel still had a lot of growing up to do, but definite signs of maturity were evident by the end I wish it would ve continued to see their relationship develop Maybe part 3 is in the works.

    13. I was really excited to start this book because I had so many questions from Positively Mine This story also consumed me and I finished it in one sitting I really enjoyed Danny s character and was so happy to get his point of view I struggled a little bit with Laurel in this book, just didn t feel the same connection as the first book Great continuation, however, I just wished for a little to the story at the end Both of these books were easy to fall into and enjoyable

    14. Yours and Mine by Christine Duval was such an emotional read I found it genuine and heartbreaking to see what Danny and Laurel went through as young parents I do, however, must admit I did not read the first book, but will do so as soon as possible Though I did not feel totally lost, the first book deals with how Laurel dealt with being pregnant and alone by her own choice. In Yours and Mine, Danny only finds out about the baby after she is born It s been almost a year since he last saw Laurel an [...]

    15. Yours And Mine, the highly anticipated sequel to Positively Mine by Christine Duval has released I highly recommend reading Positively Mine first.Laurel hid her pregnancy from everyone during her freshman year of college until it got to a life or death situation Now she has to face the realities of her life She is a young mother trying to juggle her school schedule, her responsibilities to her child, and social life She s doing the best she can but she s not quite emotionally mature enough to ha [...]

    16. Engaging ReadI don t normally read young adult novels because I tend to be annoyed by the characters typically depicted in this genre NOT THIS ONE I m sure the fact that the book is told from Danny s perspective had an enormous influence in my enjoyment of Yours and Mine I m a sucker for male POV, both as a reader and a writer And his does not disappoint.Christine Duval did a great job fleshing out the characters and developing interesting settings and interactions, which are realistic and belie [...]

    17. This author knows how to write a story to keep you reading I thought initially that this story might disappoint as I d say the first quarter of the book didn t really keep my intrigue As weird as it sounds I found the character and scene building too fast and too slow all at the same time I wish the author had built of a back story around Danny and Laurel to give us of an insight into their relationship before the baby and felt she spent too much time on Danny s This was largely due to me not [...]

    18. This is book two in this series while I had not read book one I honestly didn t think you need to read the first book first But I am probably going to anyhow plan on reading it after this story This was my first story by this author and let me tell you she did not disappoint She had me at the first page and kepte wanting at the end I did fall in love with Laurel and Danny Even though sometimes that Laurel did get on my nerves beacuse she knew Danny is better for her I still ended up loving her [...]

    19. DISCLAIMER I received a copy of this book as part of a blog tour.I have not read the first book, I will say that you should as this book picks up where that one left off But that aside, I liked getting into this story This is a new author for me and I found her writing to be very enveloping Like it just wrapped me up and made me stay until I was finished RATING 4.5 OF 5 STARS.I am all about the heart wrenching stories I definitely recommend reading the first book, which I plan on doing, like, ye [...]

    20. I really enjoyed this story I didn t read book one but I really don t think that it was necessary, but I think I might check it out This story really was well put together and Laurel and Danny are characters you can t help but love and hope that they work out I did find myself wanting to smack Laurel on the head lol but it made the end so much better

    21. 3.5 star sLaurel was too wishy washy in this story for my taste but still liked itYou should be warned though, this story ends much like it did in the first book cliffhanger

    22. Laurel and Danny had a one night stand one year ago Laurel had been up with Danny every summer for the last three years Laurel was a couple years younger than Danny Then Laurel shows up on Danny s doorstep with a little girl that is Danny s daughter Laurel wants Danny to give up all his parental rights But Danny wants to be in his daughter s Carolyn life now that he know he has a daughter Laurel ends up in court with Danny and the judge orders shared custody arrangement Laurel has a player on of [...]

    23. Read of my reviews at Whoo Gives A Hoot I generously received this ARC from Xpresso Book Tours in exchange for an honest reviewYours And Mine is the highly anticipated sequel to Positively Mine I absolutely adored every single moment of this sweet contemporary romance novel, and yet it also caused a lot of emotions This story picks up right where book one leaves off and is told entirely in Danny s POV Before signing up to read the second book in the Freshmen Forty series I never read anything b [...]

    24. I read the first book a while back and I could barely remember what the story was about, though this book was a good continuation by itself, it could be a standalone.

    25. I m surprised by how much I actually enjoyed this book, especially after my experience with the first book, which did not go too well I flew by this story fairly quickly, wanting to see what would become of the two main characters While it did feel predictable at major turning points, it was still a book I d reluctantly put down.Besides a few points of the story where I felt like character development could use work, the characters themselves in this book felt a lot lively I found Danny to be [...]

    26. Danny was having really bad day when he finds out his father is in jail for DUI and same time he is finding out he fathered a child Danny and Laurel had a summer fling last year and she left Danny without a goodbye Without any explanation Laurel present paper to Danny to give up his parental right to his little girl who he hasn t seen yet Danny doesn t want to become like his father and he decides to be involve in raising a child with Laurel However raising doesn t come easy for both Finally jud [...]
