    4. A massive step up in quality from the previous volume After the confusing, cluttered mess that was Volume 3, Volume 4 is a blast from start to finish Recommended.

    5. Rick and Morty Vol 4 was something I read because I know little to nothing about this animated series I ve seen the characters, but I don t have cable and I haven t tried to look them up online It s funny if a bit weird and crude. In this volume, Morty convinces his grandfather Rick to use his powers for good and create medicine that will benefit the world This means killing a flying creature that is the last of its kind This also turns Rick into a very wanted drug lord How he gets out of this is [...]

    6. If you re a fan of Rick and Morty there s not a lot you won t like here It s like another three Rick Morty Episodes in book form What s not to like

    7. Free copy provided by Netgalley in return for an honest reviewRating 4 5Publication Date 15th February 2017Review Date 01st April 2017I heavily enjoyed the first section of Rick and Morty Vol 04 I just recently finished both series of the show and I ve been looking for to read, and coming across this on Netgalley was brilliant The Ricky Horror Peacock ShowThis was an absolutely brilliant story I loved this one It s total Rick and Morty and ran as smoothly as an episode of the show would Morty t [...]

    8. It s like getting additional episodes of the series Looks and feels exactly like the tone of the show Plus Meeseeks Received an advanced copy from Oni and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

    9. To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Rick and Morty The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer s head There s also Rick s nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance The fans understand this stuff they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to re [...]

    10. Having recently binged on the first series of the hilarious, scabrous cartoon about a drunk mad scientist and his schmuck grandson, I thought I might as well take a look at the comics tie in, because the quality of such things is way up these days Part of which lies in hiring the right talent, and they ve excelled here Sexcastle s Kyle Starks writes most of this, with art largely by Marc Ellerby, both of whom are perfect fits for the show s smart dumb, cartoon grotesque feel The main story fits [...]

    11. Don t want to say much here, as Rick and Morty is the most fun when personally experienced Most of the Volume involves the typical hijinks Morty helps Rick do something he finds morally wrong this time harvesting drugs Summer goes off on her own adventure this time with a intergalactic lothario, who gets very upset when says they are just friends Rick uses something crazy to get them out of trouble this time a massive amount of Mr Meeseeks, who were being used as drug runners early in the story [...]

    12. I really like the stories in this volume Summer, dimension C 137 Summer, shows off her kind yet badass side when she goes on some little adventures with our walking Doctor Who reference Peacock Jones And I love how she handles herself when Jones shows his true feathers This is the volume that has Roadhog and Junkrat look alikes in the background and I was just so very happy to finally see it in person I especially loved the Breaking Bad reference in the cover art for the third part of the book, [...]

    13. I received a copy from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review This is the first time I ve read a comic book without skipping a page Huge thanks to Oni Press and NetGalley for having the whole book up on their website I like watching the show Rick Morty, which my boyfriend is a big fan of I was curious if the comic book was going to be in sync with the show and found that these comics are stories of another dimension s Rick and Morty So, they are not related to the show, not really.Rick and M [...]

    14. ARC received from netgalley and publisher in exchange for honest review This is definitely a worthwhile read as a companion to the TV series The story line was hilarious and Rick was the same grouchy genius that he always is Each issue in the volume felt like an episode of the TV show, with their own plots and story arcs.I will forever love the deprecating humour towards Jerry, it s mean but it s so damn funny That and the strong relationship between Rick and Morty whilst they go through these a [...]

    15. Whaddup my glip glops Are you missing new episodes of Rick and Morty too You should definitely check out the comic series This has been one of the best comic adaptations I ve read, the humor is just like the show The volume opens with an adventure to get a substance that will cure all diseases, but also a psychotic so they start dealing drugs Summer goes off with a mysterious alien on fantastic adventures throughout the universe after R M kill his companion So far, this was my favorite volume in [...]

    16. this is still a pale imitation of maybe the best show on TV, but it s funny and full of all the stuff that you love about the tv show I say this in every review of a rick and morty volume, but the real difference here is not having the performances and the loose and improvised feel of dialogue it feels constructed and while the science fiction concepts are still really great and function at level higher than comedy science fiction the performative aspect really brings these characters alive on [...]

    17. If I m being too vague, I m talking about your penis here Are you missing Rick and Morty Can you believe it has been 1 year, 4 months, and 9 days since the cliffhanger of Season 2 Can you believe we still have a month to wait for Season 3 Well this collection of short adventures will tide you over So many of these stories feel like lost episodes that we missed out on It s a Ricklicious fix Rick and Morty fans will enjoy this collection no end.I received a digital copy of this collection ahead of [...]

    18. If you watch Adult Swim s Rick Morty, you will love this comic as well The storylines were hilarious and fun to read I also liked the shorts at the end They were really cute And the comic is a good reread or two Rick and Morty are a blast It was a great read I received a copy from NetGalley for an honest review.

    19. I ve read one graphic novel in this universe, though at a bit of a tangent to this one, so I like Summer and I m glad there s no walking talking poo this time Other than that I didn t know much about this, and had no idea Grandpa Scientist was going to be such an ass he s like Back to the Future s Doc Brown without a soul, or any type of morals. There are no punches pulled here At one point they club baby seals One character is described as why women walk around with keys between their fingers Th [...]

    20. More an episodic collection of short stories, that progresses a singular plot from beginning to end Unlike others which have, enjoyably, had one off plots The plot in this book wasn t great, and I didn t find myself laughing as I had with other Rick and Morty graphic novels.

    21. Minus the Morty Bounce To The Ounce which had illustrations of which I wasn t a fan, this is another strong set of Rick Morty comics that are weird, sometimes hard to follow, and always very squanchtastic.

    22. Same humor, new stories This time the main one has a reoccurring Doctor Who spoof and a bunch of meeseeks A fun, solid story. The delivery one fell a bit flat for me, but the basketball one was great There s also a couple shorts at the end that basically line up with the app games.

    23. My wife had bought it A quick read, somewhat derivative to the show, ie call backs, etc Abrupt endings to the plots.

    24. The story felt on par with any of the stories in the show, but the actual humor felt like it was written by a dumb fan A surreal combination.

    25. In Rick and Morty withdrawal Look no further These comics are a great adaptation, and I would definitely recommend them to fans of the show

    26. I don t like writing of Starks at all It s not funny and dark w o a point Not 2 stars only for the sequence with hip hop in background I turned on the music and it was funny to read.

    27. Always excited to see what is in store in every issue, given that this universe has a potentially infinite number of stories The writers have used that concept for all it is worth.
