    1. For creativity 4 stars, but reading this book is a wee bit confusing You have two alternating sets of interesting cases being followed by PIs one time frame in the 1940 s and the other present day Both narratives are filled with drink and smokes, enjoyed in the extreme by both men In addition to drink, our present day PI has a rather difficult struggle with mental health After one of his stays in hospital, he says, I was only there ten days anyway and then I felt back to normal Well, I don t kno [...]

    2. 3. A rather interesting tale of a ex cop who is writing a novel Of a private eye set in the 1940s This book had lots of twist s and turn s as what you think you believe isn t what you think at all It had a ending i didn t even see coming or even think about I urge you to read this As it s a addictive read.
