A lovely little book about about a live gargoyle, Gargoth, created in England in 1604 whose friends a human girl in modern Toronto and a female gargoyle try to save from a cruelly acquisitive man who wants to possess only to possess The book is delightful enough to make me want to visit Ms Dowding s earlier work, A Gargoyle in My Yard Recommended for children 8 and up.
