I guess I should have expected this when I got it Instead of proving to be a fun adventuresome book it was basically a narrative retelling of what happened in the second season of Robin Of Sherwood Personally I found the narrative rather bland and even though I love the episodes themselves the retelling of every single detail was annoying and made it rather boring when I realized I knew what was going to happen next My advice is to just watch the show because you get a lot emotion out of watchi [...]

This is better than Robin of Sherwood, probably due to the different author Robin May makes this work as a novel in its own right, rather than relying on people remembering the TV series There are also some decent stories in here, so Richard Carpenter deserves credit for them.Unfortunately, this could have done with a bit proofreading For instance, here s a quote from page 143 the outlaws erupted into the barn, Little John and Nasir grabbing Robin and Lilith being seized by Edward and Nasir So, [...]

    3. A new author takes the helm in the novelization of the series and does a really good job of bringing the action to life on the page Of course if you have seen the series it makes it vivid and easy to recall the visuals For me its always been good to read and dip into every now and then.
